		<description>I know the knight's tour puzzle as a mathematical exercise, but are there other examples of the knight's tour having been used in combination with letters to form a word puzzle? I am translating a 19th c. German diary which contains a reference to that, and I was wondering if it was a purely German passtime in the 1880s, or if such puzzle were enjoyed in the Anglo world as well (have not been able to find any evidence thus far).</description>
