GameInstitute discount

GameInstitute is offering its courses at a 20% discount until January 7, 2007, so if you want to get into game programming or learn how to write your own 3D engine or build your own game console, this is a perfect time to get started.

I’m not affiliated with GameInstitute and I don’t receive money for telling you about this discount. The reason I’m passing on this information is that I thoroughly enjoy the Design Your Own Game Console course that I’m taking at GameInstitute at the moment. If you have any interest in game development, I highly recommend you take a look at what GameInstitute has to offer.

Great service

Last week, I hit a snag with the Video Game Console Design Course I’m taking from GameInstitute.com: the microcontroller didn’t connect properly with my breadboard. After asking about this problem on the forum, Andre LaMothe - the course designer - sent me a new breadboard to solve the problem. Just to be sure, he also included a new microcontroller. How is that for service!
